Wing Athletics 2008
2418 (Sherwood) Squadron failed to walk away with any trophies at this years South & East Midlands Wing, Wing Athletics 2008 competition, held at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium, Leicester on Sunday 18th May 2008.
The Cadets who represented the Squadron performed extremely well in both the track and field events. A number of Cadets representing the Squadron had never performed in such an event however, they did not buckle under pressure. We performed well on the day and out of the 29 squadrons that participated the Squadron finished in a very respectiable twelfth place overall.
Well done to all our Cadets who performed on the day.
