2418 Sherwood Squadron Narrowly Miss Out
On the 8th November 2009, 2418 (Sherwood) Squadron attended the Muggington (Derbyshire) Remembrance Sunday parade to commemorate those that have fallen in past & current conflicts around the world.
17 Cadets & staff members aligned the entrance to Muggington Church and formed a Guard of Honour. After the service, the local community invited the squadron to some refreshments at the local hall.
Commenting on the day, Flight Lieutenant Donna Bates, 2418 Sherwood Squadron Commanding Officer said: Our Cadets were a credit to the Squadron and as such helped to maintain
the warm relationship between the Muggington community and 2418 (Sherwood) Sqn.
