2418 (Sherwood) Sqn Returns to its Roots!!
Recently Cadets and Staff from 2418 (Sherwood) SQN, as part of their keep fit regime did a walk from Rufford Park along the Robin Hood Way to Sherwood Forest on Sunday 26th April. They had lunch and spent a considerable amount of time at the Major Oak. There were a number of people in historical costumes giving demonstrations on archery, cross bows, cannons and ways of old which proved very interesting.
The walk lasted all day. Everyone completed it, all a little tired but in one piece. Sgt Steve Kitchingman deserves a “Special” mention. They finished the day off with a well earned ice cream.
