Gedling Show
On Sunday the 4th September 2418 squadron went to Gedling Show to sell raffle tickets and run tombola.
On that day 16 cadets showed up to take part in the show and help the squadron as well as three members of staff and also 5 members of the squadrons committee.
Out of the 16 cadets 14 sold raffle tickets and managed to sell a tremendous amount of 405 booklets. The weather was mixed over the day sometimes it was cold and rainy and at other times it was sunny and warm. Entertainment which was at the show included a marching band, a duck pack that did tricks and 2 Spitfires did a fly-past at 5pm. Also there was a BMX show, a few fair rides and a climbing wall.
Over all it was a fun day out and a great success for the squadron.
