2418 Parade for Battle of Britain

Cadets standing to attention on parade in Nottingham city centreThirteen cadets from 2418 Sherwood Squadron attended the Battle of Britain Parade, in Nottingham, last weekend. With uniform prepared the night before 2418 were ready to pay their respects in the church for the members of the Armed Forces who lost their lives many years ago. After the church service, the cadets from 2418 where extremely excited to march around Nottingham showing the members of the public their pride and respect.

Cadet Woodward said

"My family have all come out to see me this afternoon to watch me on parade, they're even going to be taking photos to show everyone."

2418 love taking part in parades around Nottingham city centre, Cadet Boulter says

"When you look at the peoples' faces everyone looks so proud of you even if they don't know who you are, I love that."

2418 look forward to another parade soon.
