2418 cadet sings pride at Twickenham

Recently, I was given an extremely rare opportunity to visit Twickenham, the home of English rugby, and to stand on the pitch and sing the national anthem with both the England and the Italian teams. The rare opportunity was provided by the "All Schools project" and included 100 other students from all around the country. The day started off with many briefs and kit changes and shortly after I was one of the people lining the way to the dressing rooms for the national teams.

After many rehearsals, I was finally on the pitch with 82,000 people roaring for England from all around. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity that will never be forgotten, the sound of the crowd for the national anthem was just spectacular! In the end England won the match 47-17 and are now in great contention for the 6 nations trophy. All in all it was a fantastic experience and one that definitely inspired me to take part in the wing rugby trials recently!
