2418's NEW CWOs

Last night, 2418 welcomed officer commanding South and East Midlands wing, Wing Commander Andy Pass to the squadron, for him to interview Flight Sergeants Hudson and Thurgood for promotion to Cadet Warrant Officer(CWO).

The rank of CWO is the highest rank a cadet can reach within the RAFAC; with very few cadets reaching it. There are less than 500 CWOs across a Corps of 41,000 cadets, so as a final promotion it is something every cadet should aspire for.

After a 20 minute interview on a range of subjects, from corps, RAF knowledge, to their experience within cadets, both Flight Sergeants passed their interviews and were presented with their new rank slides by the Wing Commander on final parade.

A huge congratulations CWOs Hudson and Thurgood from all at 2418; we're extremely proud!
