Method of instruction

Recently, Sergeant(Sgt) Stocks and Corporal(Cpl) Neale attended the wing Method of instruction(MOI) course at 1279 squadron.

The MOI course is designed to give cadets who are over the age of 16, and who have completed their master cadet classification, the ability to instruct the air cadet academic syllabus. Taking place over a day, Sgt Stocks and Cpl Neale covered a variety of topics, from planning and structuring their lessons to different methods of delivering lessons.

Both cadets passed the day and now await their assessments back at the squadron with the sector commander. Upon completion of their assessments, they will receive their yellow lanyards, reaching the top of the cadet classification structure.

Sgt Stocks said, "I really enjoyed the day and learnt a lot of useful tips that I can take back to the squadron."
