Last weekend, a group of cadets from 2418 ventured out to RAF Cranwell to take flight in the Grob Tutor.
One of the best parts of being a cadet is getting the chance to fly in the RAF's training aircraft. The cadets start off with ground school, going through their safety briefing, before being kitted up, with a flying suit, helmet, gloves and parachute.
All of the cadets who went got at least 30 minutes in the air, with spectacular views of the Lincolnshire countryside. Some of them braved aerobatics, with barrel rolls and stall turns being a particular favourite!
CDT Sherwin said "Flying is definitely one of the best bits about being a cadet. This is my 6th flight and I always really enjoy it!"
